A new home with a long story
Our saleroom now stands in a building most of Morecambe’s lifeboat-era families know well: the Old Chapel on Pedder Street, used for years by the local Sea Cadets unit. The pews are gone, but the high arched windows and timber roof remain — and feel surprisingly at home filled with porcelain, silver, oak furniture and the occasional ship’s compass.
It’s a fitting setting for an auction house: a building rebuilt on craftsmanship, anchored in the town, and a little proud of where it came from.
