The second item is a loose natural tanzanite of the zoisite species, weighing 11.30 ct with an oval mixed cut. It is accompanied by an Original Laboratory Certificate from GIL (Ref. no: NT09/0900/GIL), which specifies a refractive index of 1.69-1.70, a specific gravity of 3.5, and a Mohs scale hardness of 6.5-7.00. The loose tanzanite displays good clarity and brilliance with no chips or significant surface marks apparent through the presentation case. Both laboratory certificates are included and remain in legible condition.
