Buyer's Premium:

This lot features two certified gems, each accompanied by professional laboratory documentation. The first item is a natural sapphire pendant featuring a pear cut stone weighing 50 ct. According to the included Gemstone Analysis Report from Authentic Gem Lab (Certificate No: BM251850362175), the sapphire is of Sri Lankan origin, possessing a saturated blue colour and translucent clarity. The gemstone is secured in a four-prong white metal pendant mount with a decorative, pierced bail. The second item is a loose natural tanzanite of the zoisite species, weighing 11.30 ct with an oval mixed cut. It is accompanied by an Original Laboratory Certificate from GIL (Ref. no: NT09/0900/GIL), which specifies a refractive index of 1.69-1.70, a specific gravity of 3.5, and a Mohs scale hardness of 6.5-7.00. The laboratory comments indicate the stone has undergone standard heat treatment. The tanzanite is housed in a clear plastic presentation case.

Condition report:

The sapphire exhibits a deep, dark blue colour and translucent clarity with minor surface wear and tiny nibbles to some facet edges visible under magnification. The white metal setting shows minor tarnishing and light surface scratches consistent with age and use. The loose tanzanite displays good clarity and brilliance with no chips or significant surface marks apparent through the presentation case. Both laboratory certificates are included and remain in legible condition.
