A 20th-century student violin and bow set, manufactured by Parrot in China. The internal label, visible through the f-hole, identifies the instrument as Art No 1415-1 and includes the Parrot brand logo, Chinese characters, and the date 1973.
Condition report:
The instrument is in as found condition and requires significant restoration and professional setup before use. The bridge is missing and the strings are present but loose and tangled. There are various surface scratches, nicks, and areas of varnish wear across the body consistent with age and student use. The bow hair is broken and detached, necessitating replacement. No case is included.
