A pair of machine-made prayer rugs (sajadah) featuring a traditional mihrab or prayer niche design. One rug is worked with a sage green field and the other with a navy blue field, both featuring a central floral medallion.
Approximately 100cm x 60cm each (excluding fringe).
Condition report:
Both rugs show signs of use and age. There is general surface wear and light staining throughout. The blue rug has a small pluck or hole in the central blue field. The fringes are discoloured, worn, and tangled in several places.
