Simon (20th Century). A mid-20th-century still life composition depicting a metallic copper-toned jug positioned next to a glass bowl containing a pear, an apple, and purple grapes. Signed Simon in red paint to the lower right corner.
Condition report:
The painting appears to be in good overall condition. There is an accumulation of surface dust and dirt, particularly settled within the lower rebate of the frame. The frame shows minor signs of wear and age but remains structurally sound. No significant craquelure, paint loss, or visible signs of previous restoration are apparent under ambient light.
