This is a two-part country pine dresser, commonly known as a Welsh dresser, designed in a traditional farmhouse style. No maker’s marks or stamps are visible on the item.
Condition report:
The item is in a well-used, rustic condition consistent with age and utilitarian use. The top surface of the base shows significant signs of wear, including multiple water rings, dark stains, and general surface abrasions. There is a visible loss to the moulded return on the left-hand side of the top cornice. General scuffs, scratches, and minor indentations are present throughout the woodwork. Some separation is visible between the planks of the base top. The drawer hardware appears original and remains functional.
