A Royal Crown Derby fine bone china moustache cup and matching saucer decorated in the Traditional Imari pattern, numbered 2451. The base of the cup displays a red printed mark with a crown above an intertwined monogram of two letters D, flanked by the words ROYAL CROWN DERBY and ENGLAND. The hand-painted pattern number 2451 is visible in red script, alongside a single capital letter M, indicating a manufacture date of circa 1910.
Condition report:
The set is in very good condition. There is some minor surface wear and light rubbing to the gilding on the high points of the rim and handle consistent with age and occasional use. No chips, cracks, or evidence of restoration are visible under standard inspection.
