A large Royal Doulton earthenware decorative charger featuring a central polychrome transfer-printed landscape scene. The scene depicts Pembroke Castle, Pembrokeshire. The reverse features a printed Royal Doulton backstamp in brown ink, incorporating a lion and crown above a circular mark with the words Royal Doulton and England, dating the piece to approximately 1902-1922. To the left of the backstamp are handwritten marks in green pigment reading D 5696 above the letter C. The footrim includes a pre-drilled hole intended for wall mounting.

The item is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or significant surface wear. Two contemporary auction lot stickers are adhered to the front face.
