A collection of Art Deco style reverse-painted glass pictures featuring backgrounds of genuine butterfly wing, set within black-painted wooden frames. One item retains an original paper label on the reverse with the inscription GENUINE BUTTERFLY WING, PAT NO 202213, and MADE IN ENGLAND.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of age-appropriate wear. There is surface dust and minor scuffing to the wooden frames. The larger picture has a significant crack across the easel-style cardboard backing. The reverse-painted glass and butterfly wing sections appear stable and well-preserved.
