A lot comprising two articulated industrial lamps. The first is a black painted Anglepoise desk lamp, Model 1227, manufactured by Herbert Terry & Sons Ltd with plaque transcribed THE ANGLEPOISE PAT. IN Gt. BT. AND ABROAD. The second lamp is a white painted articulated workshop lamp with a conical shade, currently lacking its base or mounting bracket. Both items are fitted with white plastic cords and UK three-pin plugs.
Condition report:
Both lamps exhibit significant wear consistent with age and industrial use. The black lamp shows heavy surface rust and pitting to the base, along with paint loss and chips to the metal arms and shade. The white lamp is in poor condition with extensive paint flaking and surface oxidation throughout, and is missing its original base. Neither lamp has been tested for electrical safety; they are sold as found and must be rewired by a qualified professional before use.
