This late 19th or early 20th century overmantel mirror features a dark-stained wood frame with an arched top profile in the Louis Philippe style anddecorated with a gilt-stencilled foliate and floral border characteristic of the Aesthetic Movement.

The frame exhibits minor surface scuffs, scratches, and wear consistent with age, particularly along the base and corners. The mirror plate shows significant foxing and silvering loss throughout, appearing as dark spots and pitting across the glass surface.
