A mid-twentieth-century piano accordion manufactured by Soprani. The instrument features a blue pearloid celluloid-covered wooden body. The instrument is marked with raised lettering reading Soprani on the front grill and Italia on the treble keyboard casing. The accordion is fitted with leather shoulder straps and a bass hand strap.
Condition report:
The accordion is in used vintage condition. The blue pearloid finish shows surface dust and minor wear but retains good colour. The white piano keys have experienced significant yellowing consistent with age. Metal components, including the grill and buckles, show signs of oxidation and surface tarnishing. The leather straps are heavily worn with significant dry-cracking and structural fragility. The bellows appear intact upon visual inspection, but the instrument has not been pressure tested, tuned, or internally inspected. Sold as a collector\'s item or for restoration.
