This collection consists of five salt-glazed stoneware hot water bottles, traditionally referred to as pigs, dating from the late 19th or early 20th century.
Condition report:
The collection is in good antique condition, showing signs of use consistent with age. There is visible surface wear, staining, and crazing to the glazes across the group. Minor nicks and small chips are evident on some of the terminals and the edges of the stoppers. No significant cracks or major structural damage were observed from the primary viewing angles.
