A vintage oval-shaped boiler constructed from sheet metal with a blue and white mottled porcelain enamel finish, commonly referred to as graniteware and contains a removable perforated metal rack or tray. There are no maker’s marks or stamps visible on the surfaces.
Condition report:
The item is in used vintage condition with significant and widespread chipping to the enamel finish throughout. Damage is most notable along the rims of the body and lid, the handles, and the base, where the underlying metal is exposed and shows signs of surface corrosion and rust. The interior shows signs of wear and age-related staining consistent with domestic use.
