The volumes are published by Frederick Warne & Co., Ltd., London and New York, identifying them as mid-20th-century printings issued after the publisher became a limited company in 1919. Condition report:
The collection is in worn condition. The pictorial boards show significant yellowing, foxing, and surface staining consistent with age and use. Several spines exhibit wear with tears and losses at the head and tail; notably, the spine of The Tailor of Gloucester has been repaired with orange adhesive tape. Internal pages show varying degrees of age-toning and occasional foxing. The Fontana softcover biography shows edge wear and creasing to the wrappers.
