A Victorian style hall bench or settee, constructed from dark-stained hardwood. No maker’s marks or labels were identified. A small white lot tag is visible on the top corner of the backrest.
Condition report:
The item is in a condition consistent with age and previous use. The wood frame exhibits various scuffs, surface scratches, and small indentations, particularly to the legs and along the base rails. The upholstery shows typical signs of age, including mottled fading and light surface marks. The black fabric dust cover on the reverse of the backrest is torn and requires replacement or repair.
