This lot consists of three circular brass preserving pans, also referred to as jam pans or pails, typical of 19th or early 20th-century British domestic metalware.
Condition report:
The items show evidence of significant domestic use and age. The brass surfaces display a varied patina; one pan appears polished, while the others exhibit a duller, aged surface with oxidation. The interior of one pan shows notable verdigris and surface wear. The iron handles show significant surface corrosion and rust consistent with their age. The pans remain structurally sound with typical minor dents and surface scratches expected from functional kitchenware of this period.
