The lot includes a three-tiered stationery rack in the Victorian style, a twin-compartment wooden cutlery carrier with a central divider, and large rectangular pine packing crate is stencilled with the name OFFLEY in black serif lettering, associated with the Portuguese port wine producer. The metalware consists of a brass bed warmer and a toasting fork.
Condition report:
The collection shows signs of wear and age-appropriate use throughout. Wooden items exhibit surface scuffs, scratches, and minor chips to the edges and corners. The cutlery carrier shows significant internal staining and marks consistent with historical use. Metal components demonstrate natural patination, tarnishing, and surface oxidation, particularly to the iron shaft of the toasting fork. The stencilled crate has a weathered appearance with surface staining and characteristic roughness to the timber.
