A pair of mid-20th century etchings on paper depicting quintessential Lake District scenes, titled Old Mill Ambleside and Lake Windermere. Each print is inscribed with its title in pencil to the lower left margin and bears a pencil signature to the lower right. The signature consists of a capital C followed by cursive characters, possibly reading Court.
Condition report:
Both prints exhibit even toning across the sheets, consistent with age. No significant foxing, staining, or tears are visible to the paper. The mounts and frames are in good condition, with only minor surface scuffing and wear to the frames.
