A George V sterling silver condiment set manufactured by Lionel Alfred Crichton and retailed by Crichton Bros, comprising an open salt cellar and a mustard pot. Both pieces are designed in the early Georgian revival style with squat, bulbous bodies raised on three hoof-style feet. The mustard pot features a scroll handle and a hinged lid topped with a ball finial. The salt cellar contains a removable cobalt blue glass liner. The undersides of both items bear the following struck hallmarks: the maker mark LAC for Lionel Alfred Crichton, the lion passant indicating .925 sterling silver, the leopard head for the London Assay Office, and the lowercase date letter c for the year 1918. The pieces are also stamped with the retailer mark CRICHTON BROS 22 OLD BOND STREET. W.
