A set of five vintage industrial stacking side chairs dating from the mid-20th century and characteristic of the modernist industrial style associated with manufacturers such as Practical Equipment Ltd (PEL), though these chairs bear no visible manufacturer marks.
Condition report:
This set is in as found condition and requires significant restoration. The tubular metal frames show extensive surface oxidation, pitting, and widespread paint loss. The canvas upholstery is heavily soiled, stained, and frayed, with visible tearing to the fabric on at least one chair.
