Antiques and Collectibles
A group of framed artworks comprising several pieces in various media. The collection features a large watercolour and ink illustration on paper titled Spending Money by Margaret Clarkson; a landscape watercolour on paper signed in the lower right John Belderson; a third painting the verso of the frame bears trade labels for JOHN W. BELDERSON – ARTIST and ELIZABETH BELDERSON – FRAMING from Pateley Bridge, Harrogate. The group is completed by a small, square watercolour study of a rooster in a gilt frame. All works are glazed and presented in varied frames.
Condition report:
The items are in good overall condition. The artworks appear well-preserved under glass. Frames show minor signs of superficial wear, including light scuffs and small chips to the edges and corners consistent with handling. The glass on the largest frame bears an auction lot label.
