The auction will start in __ days and __ hours

Start price: £15

Buyer's Premium:

This lot comprises two realistically modelled canine figures in high-gloss glazed ceramic. The first figure represents a Doberman Pinscher, depicted in a tall, seated, alert posture with a black and tan finish. It is fitted with a brown faux-leather collar and a long yellow cord tether. The second figure is a smaller German Shepherd, also seated, with a brown and black glaze, an open mouth, and a protruding tongue, wearing a black faux-leather collar. These items are in the style of mid-to-late 20th-century decorative pottery, characteristic of Italian ceramic studios or makers such as Melba Ware. No factory marks, stamps, or model numbers are visible on the exterior surfaces.

Condition report:

Both figurines appear to be in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs evident from the provided angles. The high-shine glaze is well-preserved and reflective. The collars and cord tether are in good decorative order.
