A limited edition print by British wildlife artist Nigel Hemming (b. 1954), titled Like Father Like Son. The image depicts a mature black Labrador retriever standing over a puppy that is holding a pheasant feather in its mouth, set against a light-coloured stone wall. This work is hand-signed by the artist in pencil to the lower right margin and also bears a plate signature within the image. To the lower left margin, the print features a circular blind stamp for the publisher, Washington Green, and is numbered 4 from a limited edition in pencil, with the total edition size not clearly legible. The print is presented in a decorative multi-layered mat with green and lilac border lines, housed in a dark wood frame with a gilded inner edge. The reverse of the frame bears a handwritten anniversary inscription dated 2003 from Shugborough.
