A pair of 20th-century side chairs in the country or vernacular style. The frames are constructed from oak with a medium-brown stained finish. Each chair features a three-slat arched ladder back with woven natural rush in a traditional four-triangle envelope pattern.
Condition report:
The chairs are in good, sturdy condition. There are minor surface scuffs and light wear to the finish on the legs and stretchers, consistent with age and domestic use. The rush seats appear well-maintained and are tight with no significant fraying or breakage visible.
