An Edwardian mahogany armchair featuring Art Nouveau design influences, constructed with a mahogany frame accented by satinwood stringing and marquetry.
Condition report:
The chair is in a well-used condition consistent with its age. There is significant wear to the original finish, particularly on the upper surfaces of the arms where the polish has worn through to the base wood. The frame exhibits various scuffs, small indentations, and scratches throughout, notably on the legs. The velvet upholstery shows surface wear and ageing but remains intact. The structure remains sound, although the jute webbing on the underside shows signs of age.
