A twentieth-century upholstered armchair in the Victorian style and is characteristic of mid-to-late twentieth-century British lounge furniture, reminiscent of designs such as the Edward model by Parker Knoll. No maker’s marks or manufacturer’s labels are visible.
Condition report:
The chair is in good structural condition. The upholstery exhibits light surface wear consistent with age and use, with a faint circular stain located at the centre of the seat cushion. The wooden legs show minor scuffs and some finish loss, particularly to the turned sections of the front legs.
