An assortment of cribbage boards in various styles and a decorative reproduction tusk. Included are three wooden boards and a further board constructed from brass accompanied by multiple metal pegs in plastic bags. There is also a reproduction tusk designed to mimic traditional maritime scrimshaw. The tusk is inscribed with the text TAKEN IN THE ARCTIC OCEAN JULY 22nd 1834 and the name P. AIXLE within a rectangular border. Its decoration includes six-pointed stars, rope-motif borders, and geometric line work.
Condition report:
The items exhibit conditions consistent with age and use. The brass board shows significant surface patination and tarnishing. The wooden boards display light surface wear, minor scratches, and small areas of finish loss. The reproduction tusk shows some surface yellowing and light marking.
