A studio pottery glazed porcelain figurine by Ray Johnson, based on the 1794 portrait of Sarah Barrett Moulton, known as Pinkie, by Sir Thomas Lawrence. The underside of the base is hand-signed in dark ink with “PINKIE” AFTER SIR THOMAS LAWRENCE P.R.A. by STUDIO POTTER Ray Johnson.
Height: 15cm – 25cm (approximately).
Condition report:
The item is in very good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or repairs. A small adhesive lot sticker numbered 1471 is present on the reverse. The unglazed base rim exhibits minor shelf wear and light discolouration consistent with use and age.
