This lot comprises an assortment of loose gems and unmounted cameos presented in display cases and individual packets. The collection includes four round brilliant-cut stones of a vibrant mid-blue hue, appearing to be sapphires, housed within a white plastic display case. A separate black display case contains a single round brilliant-cut stone of an intense pinkish-red hue, appearing to be a ruby, spinel, or pink sapphire. The lot further contains multiple packets of mixed faceted and cabochon stones in various shades including deep red, purple, green, and blue, appearing to include garnets and other semi-precious species. Also included are three unmounted carved shell cameos of graduated sizes, each featuring a classic female profile in white relief against a brownish-orange ground. One packet includes a printed label identifying the items as part of Lot 19 for an auction dated 5 May 2026.
Cameos: approximately 10mm to 35mm in height
Faceted stones in cases: approximately 4mm to 7mm in diameter.
Condition report:
The items appear to be in good overall condition. Individual gems may exhibit minor surface wear or natural inclusions consistent with loose parcels. The shell cameos show no visible cracks or significant chips to the carved relief. Display cases are in functional condition.
