Thackeray, The Mill on the Floss by George Eliot, Gulliver’s Travels by Jonathan Swift, and The Way of All Flesh by Samuel Butler. Condition report:
The blue-bound volumes show significant shelf wear, with noticeable rubbing and loss to the gilt decoration and lettering on the spines. A prominent vertical split is visible in the binding material along the length of the spine for the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde volume. The maroon Shakespeare volumes appear to be in better condition with only minor wear to the spine ends and extremities. There is evidence of surface scuffing and dust soiling to the top edges of the text blocks throughout the collection. Internal pages have not been inspected for markings or foxing.
