A polychrome ceramic vessel of the Nazca culture from the South Coast of Peru, dating to the Early Intermediate Period, circa 100 BCE to 800 CE. T; no maker’s marks or signatures are present on the artefact itself.


Condition report:

The vessel exhibits signs of wear consistent with archaeological material, including general surface pitting and areas of loss to the polychrome slip. The bridge handle and spouts appear to be intact but show a darker, possibly weathered finish. Professional hands-on inspection is recommended to determine if any restoration or overpainting has occurred.
