A pair of Royal Dux bisque porcelain figurines depicting Middle Eastern water carriers in traditional rustic attire. The base of one figure features the applied pink clay triangle mark impressed with Royal Dux Bohemia. Hand-painted marks including D 59 and 0/ are also present on the underside.
Condition report:
The figures are in fair to good condition. The stooping figure has a significant horizontal crack across the lower portion of the tunic, which appears to be a repaired break. There is minor rubbing and loss to the gilded highlights on the rims of the water jars and around the circular bases. A small white adhesive label remains on the reverse of the standing figure\'s base.
