A Lladró glazed porcelain figurine, model number 4660, titled Little Shepherd and also known as Boy with Donkey or Platero and Marcelino. The base features a blue printed manufacturer mark consisting of a bell-flower symbol topped with a crown, above the text LLADRÓ and HAND MADE IN SPAIN. Additional incised markings to the base include the characters H – O, 19, and A. Designed by sculptor Salvador Furió, this model was first issued in 1970 and retired in 1991.
Condition report:
The figurine is in good overall condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of restoration. There is minor shelf-wear and surface dirt to the unglazed underside of the base.
