A polychrome glazed ceramic figurine titled Sir George Sinclair as a Boy, based on the portrait by Sir Henry Raeburn, R.A. (1756–1823). The underside of the base features a printed title and a biographical paragraph detailing Raeburn’s life and career as a leading Scottish portrait painter. To the left of the central vent hole, there is a handwritten inscription in black ink which reads By STUDIO POTTER followed by the signature Reg Johnson.
Condition report:
The figurine is in very good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of restoration.
