A gloss-glazed ceramic figurine titled A Cottage Girl with Dog and Pitcher, based upon the 1785 painting by Thomas Gainsborough. The underside of the base features printed text including the title and the name of the original artist, Thomas Gainsborough (1727-1788). Additionally, it is hand-inscribed by Studio Potter and bears the signature of Reg Johnson.
Condition report:
The figurine is in very good condition with no visible chips, cracks, or signs of restoration. There is a small white auction lot sticker numbered 1471 applied to the back of the figure. The glaze remains bright and glossy throughout.
