A cast bronze sculpture depicting a slender nude male youth in the guise of an archer, standing in a classical pose with his left arm extended holding a bow and his right arm retracted. The work features athletic proportions and stylised, tightly curled hair. The bronze is finished with a medium-to-dark brown patina. The figure is positioned upon an integrated circular stepped bronze base, further mounted on a polished circular black marble plinth with light white veining. No signatures, foundry marks, or edition numbers are visible. The bow is present, however, the wire string is absent.
Condition report:
The sculpture is in good overall condition. There are scattered white speckling and surface deposits visible, primarily on the lower legs and base. Minor surface dust is present throughout. The wire bowstring is missing.
