An assortment of seven vintage painted cast iron figures, traditionally used as doorstops or mantel ornaments. Featuring a variety a reclining pig with two piglets, a seated black and white cat wearing a yellow collar with a bell, a seated brown teddy bear with a black bow, a standing ram with curved horns on a floral grassy base, a seated black and white spotted cow, a yellow and white squirrel, and a dark-toned rabbit or hare. Each piece is constructed from sand-cast iron with a flat, hollowed-out reverse.
Condition report:
The items are in as found condition. There is significant wear to the paintwork across the entire collection, including chipping, flaking, and loss. Areas of surface oxidation and rust are visible where the cast iron is exposed. No structural breaks or repairs were noted during inspection.
